Welcome to the Pottsboro Youth Association. Established in 2000 as an organization of volunteers dedicated to the advancement of the youth of Pottsboro and surrounding communities through sports. The PYA serves as a starting block for children from ages four through twelve. |

2008 Baseball Summary For the 2008 regular season, Pottsboro had a total of 12 teams of 5-14 year old players. All three of the 5/6 year old teams made the end of the season tournament and won both 1st and 2nd place in the division. The All Stars took 1st place in the All Star tournament. A 7/8 year old team took 2nd place at the end of the season tournament. The All Stars placed 2nd in the All Star tournament. Two 9/10 year old teams made the end of the season tournament. One team placed 2nd in the tournament. The 9/10 year old All Stars placed 2nd at the district all star tournament and advanced to the State tournament in Mt. Pleasant, Tx. They did very well leaving the tournament in 5th place out of 10 teams. It was an awesome experience for all the players, coaches, and their families. The 11/12 year old All Stars placed 2nd at the district All Star tournament and advanced to the state tournament in Atlanta, Tx. For most of these players this was a once in a life time opportunity to represent Pottsboro at the State tournament. Fun was had by all and everyone took home lots of memories from the experience. |
